rising dj/producer challenge

TuneCore and AfroFuture are teaming up to present the Rising DJ & Producer Challenge, a platform for up-and-coming DJs and beat makers to connect with the AfroFuture audience. Together, our goal is to increase the visibility of independent producers and DJs across Africa.

The challenge includes an exclusive submission process, the chance to put your own unique spin on a beat, the opportunity to perform at TuneCore’s official AfroFuture Mixer, and a guaranteed slot on TuneCore’s AfroFuture Stage for Ghana’s biggest music festival.

Ten finalists will be selected for the TuneCore + AfroFuture Judging Committee, followed by a round of performance videos. Social media followers will have the opportunity to vote for the Top 3 Finalists, and a winner will be selected by our judging committee. The winning DJ/Producer will receive a prize package, airfare to Accra, and the aforementioned performance opportunities during the week of AfroFuture!

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION:

• Download the stems and audio files for “Bleach” by Øbed in the application link

• Put your own spin by remixing and/or sampling from this audio pack

• Fill-out our Rising DJ & Producer Challenge submission form and tell us about yourself

• Don’t forget to include your headshots + a short bio
