EXPERIENCE Rules

AfroFuture Festival is committed to creating a safe, fun and unforgettable experience for every one of our guests.  Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be IMMEDIATELY removed from the festival grounds and have their Festival Wristband and parking/camping privileges revoked, without refund. Law enforcement may be notified.

These actions can get you removed from Afrofuture

• Irresponsible or unsafe use of alcohol

• Accessing restricted areas without proper credentials

• Taunting, abusive or offensive language

• Obscene or offensive gestures, including the use of obscene or offensive gestures through imagery or symbolism (Including banners, signs and other means of visual propaganda)

• Possession/use/sale of illegal drugs

• Public urination or defecation (outside of a proper and/or public restroom)

• Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone

• Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property

• Participating in any activity that humiliates anyone or insults their human dignity

• Fraudulently claiming a disability or abusing ADA services

To ensure safety AfroFuture has ensured the following will be present on site

• On-site Ambulance and Paramedic Team

• Fire Service Representatives

• Police Security

• Private Security

• Military Police Security

• Metal Detectors 

• Bag Searches 

Wristbands

• Re-entry will be restricted after 3pm

• All ages are welcome. Ages 6+ require a festival ticket

• A Festival ticket is a single wristband that is worn throughout the event

• Wristband is void if tampered with or removed

• Wristband must be worn as a requirement for entry into the festival

• All sales are final—no refunds, cancellations or exchanges

Entrance

• There are separate entrances for each ticket level

• Entrance disruption will result in voided tickets

• Personal Mobility Devices for ADA guests are allowed

  • Detachable Lens Cameras are not allowed (except for media pass holders)

• Backpacks, Purses, Handbags, Totes, Fanny Packs (A4 size)

• Blankets (small)

• Ear Plugs

• Eye Drops

• Gum and Mints

• Hand Sanitizer and Baby Wipes

• Lip Balm

• Makeup

• Parasols (pump or cream only - no aerosols)

• Repellant

• Sunglasses

• Sunscreen

Other Essentials

• Baby Strollers

• Mini foldable camp-style chairs

• Cigarettes

• E-Cigs and Vape Pens (no AVP’s, mods or liquid refills for vapes)

• Hats

• Lighters

• Water Misters (must be empty when entering venue)

• No Detachable Cameras (except for media pass holders)

• Aerosol Products (Including Sunscreen)

• Flyers, Samples, Giveaways, Promotional Items

• Glass or Metal Containers (Including Refillable Water Bottles)

• Kites or Sky Lanterns

• Musical Instruments

• Non-Jewelry Chains
